A set of five works on the hospital campus. Outdoor projects were both constructed of stainless steel structures clad with hand carved cantera stone. Both sculptures exhibit sets of glazed ceramic flowers. “Vitae Team” is a 20’ high sculpture inspired by fusion of the traditional tree of life with the skeletal system of a human thorax, the carvings on the stem celebrate technological developments in medicine. “Manus Curant” is a 12’ sculpture of a hand that is meant to celebrate the healer’s touch.

The indoor projects are all back-lit lenticular transparencies installed in allocated niches. “Coniuncti” is a 20’ high lenticular transparency that depicts an image that flips from an anatomical model embellished with natural details to an intricate collage montage of a tree. “Vigor Vortex” is a 10’ Dia. “Ocular” design that flips with rich details featuring a human spine that changes to a architectural column and a cactus. “Premium Pulmanae” is a 4’ x 6’ diorama that features a fantastical aquarium with blown glass figures.
